.) For those of you who don’t know I am beyond obsessed with the country Finland. Funny fact is I spent an entire summer practicing the language. Didn’t get far, but I do know how to greet people and ask them how they’re doing!
.) I want to be able to visit Italy and taste real Italian food and of course have glass or two of wine.
.)Go snorkeling. (I love the thought of it, but I’m a baby when it comes to going under water. I just don’t like that feeling.)
.) When I was younger I wanted to have my own Winery. To this day the idea sounds amazing, but looking into the schooling that I need…how about I stick to other things I’m way more passionate about. I think I’ll just enjoy the bottles I buy.
.) Since most girls probably dream about the guys they’d possibly date, well the type I should say, for some reason I’ve always wanted to date a Scottish boy. Maybe it’s the accent that melts my heart. Man, I’ve watched too much Harry Potter.
.) Be a character in Harry Potter. If anything I’d end up being Cho Chang…I’m asian, let’s face it. But if I could be any character I’d love to be Luna Lovegood. Her character is so unique, down to earth, smart, and caring. I’d want to stick out in an odd sort of way.
.) Be a teacher. I will always look up to the way my 3rd Grade teacher taught. And for that I am forever grateful.
.) Out of all the dreams I’ve had my greatest thought was being a movie producer. But to be more specific have my own TV Series I’m in charge of. It would be based off the Percy Jackson books. And if you haven’t read them I would do so now! They’re worth it, and who knows…a new show could be knocking on your door sooner than you hoped.
.) Meet the character Colonel Christopher Brandon. I fell in love with the movie as a little girl. He probably had to be my first real big crush. And I think the reason I loved the character was the way he came across towards women. Words can’t explain. And of course Alan Rickman played him and he was so handsome back than.
.) Recently, I’ve really thought about traveling. By the time I’m 25 I want to have visited all the countries I’ve dreamed of seeing. There aren’t much, but I’d give myself a year to travel. I mean what if I want to stay somewhere for a month and go on adventures?
.) When/If there is another Victoria Secret’s Fashion Show in LA or somewhere in the states I want to be able to attend. It’s incredible how much work is put into these shows and for once I’d love to experience it in real love…not by watching it on tv.
.) Sing in front of a live audience. I haven’t been able to do that in years. When I was younger I was in theatre, did choir, and did recitals, but I don’t do any of that stuff anymore. I feel like before I’m 25 I’m still young enough to go out and have fun. (That’s just my opinion. You don’t have to be too serious.) So one day, even if it’s at a karaoke bar I want to be able to get up and sing. I’ll need someone to record for me!
.) I’ve been saying I’d do it and I know I need to stop talking myself out of it, but I want to be able to start my youtube channel mainly focusing on makeup. I’m not a profession, but it is one of my biggest passions. And I feel like my spunky personality would do well. And I know a lot of you would be able to relate and not hate. (So just appreciate…I had to add a rhyme in there.) I should also be more specific. If I give myself before I’m 25, to achieve this goal, it’ll be too late. So before Summer of 2016 I need to have at least 15 videos out. So the clock is now ticking!
.) Have a dream team organized and put together. I know with all the goals I have set for myself I wouldn’t be able to do it all alone. Eventually I’d need a team of amazing people to come together and help everything become “the possible”. Plus it would be cool to here other’s ideas, and be with people who have the same goals like mine.
.) Host an elegant party. Maybe not a black tie affaire, but you get the picture. Something where I can serve special treats for my guests and Champagne. Exactly what you see in the movies. How cool would that be? And the only way you could get into my elaborate party is if you receive an invitation. (Not a text or email.)- Let’s do it the “old fashioned” way.
.) Have my blog successful enough to the point where I can travel, meet other Lifestyle Bloggers, and be able to share my stories with the wonderful people who have become apart of this journey with me.
.) Meet the 4 women who inspired me to do what I do, the 4 women who I look up to so much, and who have helped me get through the rough patches in my life because of the advice and the sharing of their stories. Desi Perkins, Katy(LustreLux), Jaclyn Hill, and Sjana Earp. Each one of these ladies are the role models I look up to in each and every way possible. And one day before I’m 25 I want to be able to meet each one and be able to tell them how much they changed my life. ( And I would add photos, but instead I’ve shared links to their Youtube Channels or websites.)
.) I want to be able to meet the writers for the top magazines in the world like Harper Bazaar or even Vogue. Just because, as a little girl it was them who showed me the joy that writing could bring, and of course give me the best fashion tips and makeup advice.
.) Share my story about my eating disorder and bring awareness to the disease. I feel like a lot of people aren’t well educated on eating disorder’s and I hope to either have the privilege to give a speech in front of an audience or write an article.
.) Move out of the state of California. I want to be able to move twice by the time I’m 25. I want to be able to live in Florida and enjoy the weather over there, and live abroad just for a little bit. I think it would be good just to experience all the joys life has to offer before I start deciding on settling down.
.) Last but not least I want to be able to be at a specific point in my life where I don’t have to rely on anyone, but myself. I want to be fully independent, have my own place, car, and have the life I’m dreaming of right this minute. (And not be stressed about all the bills.)
I hope my list inspires you to go out and write down your dreams and goals. It’s all possible as long as you put the hard work in. Failure will always be apart of this journey, but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. So I encourage you to make every minute count and to go for it, don’t wait! Thank you so much for stopping by, and I look forward to sharing my next blog post with you.
